YouTube Remarketing: Tool to look forward to?

Remarketing is an effective way to target the users, who have been to your website before. If the marketing objective is to increase the lead or the transaction per user, re marketing probably the best way to go forward because:
Remarketing
Remarketing
1) It is targeted to the people who have already been to your portal or have shown interest in your offerings but didn't take the desired action (transaction in most cases). Hence the spill over in terms of targeting the wrong TG would be minimal,
2) It is extremely helpful to increase the transaction per user, as communication can be customized as per the liking of the users (by looking at the buying behavior), hence conversion is more likely to be higher side.

If you are reading this post, I am assuming that your are aware of the basics of remarketing.

What I have discussed so far is remarketing through google or other third party tools which are targeting the intent of the users (especially in the case of google, since search is the intent based phenomenon). But this post is all about discussing the idea of having a remarketing tool targeting to interest of users. Is my language becoming a bit complicated? Let me try to speak in english... :-)...

Just imagine a user, who unintentionally lands on your website and your remarketing tool drops a cookie on his browser, he may not be a prospective customer or at least may not require it immediately. Now, look at the different scenario, where a user who is genuinely interested in your offerings comes to your portal, the keyword here is "interested". Even if he doesn't buy your offering immediately but definitely a prospective customer, it makes more sense put your marketing efforts to target the second case (do you think otherwise?). Remarketing on youtube users is a same. Video is by nature an interest based phenomenon, people filter their videos based on their interest and accordingly visit the pages to watch the same. Now just think, if we have a customized offering for a user like this, what are the chances of getting this user converted? Answer is obvious, isn't it?... :-)

Samsung S3: Sensation or Hype

Finally, the most awaited gadget of the year (as of now) has touched the Indian shores and being touched and felt by many hands in India. Samsung's new kid S3 is here and creating a lot of buzz in the market and has already reported nearly 10 millions pre orders even before it was launched.
A lot of talk is around that Samsung has pitched it against Apple iPhone 4S, HTC One X and upcoming Nokia Lumia 900. But with the price tag of 43K, let us deep dive and find out, if it is going to be a new sensation or will end up being a short lived product.
If we look at the design, S3, like it's predecessor S2, uses a glossy plastic back which gives a feel of a cheaper handset and may not appeal to everyone. Nevertheless, the plastic cover body has been compensated by a really solid Gorilla Glass front, a well-packaged interior and a more robust battery cover. It's polycarbonate rather than bog-standard plastic. The new Galaxy phone is equipped with a 1.4 GHz quadcore processor paired with 1GB RAM. The S3 features a 4.8-inch super AMOLED display, an 8-megapixel (MP) camera with zero-lag shutter speed, 1080p video capture, a 1.9-inch front-facing camera and a 16 GB onboard memory that is expandable. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
Samsung is eying a 60% market share of smart phone market and S3 is expected to be one of the drivers to achieve the same. Though, it is going to face a stiff competition from HTC OneX, which feels more premium and adorns the same specifications.

It's a circle isn't it?

Have you ever felt "Oh! I am back to the square one"? When after toiling hard for years, you created a comfort zone for yourself, when for a while you felt that life is having a smooth ride, and suddenly one day you wake up and see that you have gone back to the very point, you started your journey from? Doesn't everything around us move in a circle and we reach back to the same point, we start putting the pieces together from?

I don't know, but I am going through the same phase. I have never been a big fan of a city like Delhi and when some 5-6 years back, I was leaving Delhi and shifting base to Bangalore, it was a big relief. Bangalore seems to be the city of my dream, neither too fast nor too slow, a perfect place for a guy like me and I started meeting and making good friends along the way. Everything was so very perfect like a fairy tales and I was happy in my comfort zone, but then I was shaken and thrown back to the same city i.e. Delhi. I am again fighting for my survival today with a new employer, new faces, new surrounding, new climate, and very much everything so new and different.

Today, when I wake up, I don't see green Bangalore moving at its own pace but a busy Delhi with tall buildings. I don't see friends at office, but colleagues. I don't see the plans of future, but the plans of survival. Life has come back to the same point, I started my journey some 5-6 years back. It seems life doesn't let go anyone by running away. I sneaked away years back from Delhi to Bangalore, where my comfort zone was, and it seems life allowed me the time of around 6 years to hone my survival skills and then brought me back to the same city to fight again. It is a circle, you may leave few dot behinds before moving ahead but you have to come back to connect those dots to give it a perfect shape.

All apprehensions have melted away and my head is clear now. Today, I look back and see myself having a gala time in Bangalore and when I visualize the future, I find myself becoming a stronger person than ever. It is going to get better because it's Him, who is present everywhere but considered staying somewhere behind the layer of the sky, has chosen it for me and I believe that He can put you in hot water but He knows that weather is going to be so cold that you are going resort to that hot water to survive. He is expecting me to come out as a winner and I can't let Him down. I am focused and committed to connect the dots, I had left behind last time to make the circle of my life a perfect one. Amen!!
